CHARACTER OF A TRANSFORMED CHRISTAIN
A transformed Christian is someone whose inner life, values, and behaviour have been changed by the Holy Spirit through faith in Christ. The Bible describes this transformation as a new birth, a renewed mind, and a Spirit‑led life. Character of a transformed believers are as follows:
1. A New Identity in Christ
A transformed Christian understands they are no longer defined by their past but by their new life in Christ.
- New creation — “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
- Adopted as God’s child — Romans 8:15–16
- Crucified with Christ — Galatians 2:20
Character of new identity in Christ: confidence in God, freedom from guilt, a renewed sense of purpose.
2. A Renewed Mind
Transformation begins internally, shaping thoughts, attitudes, and decisions.

6. Humility and Servanthood
A transformed Christian reflects Christ’s humility.

7. A Life of Prayer and Dependence on God
Transformation deepens intimacy with God.

Character evidence: peace, trust, spiritual sensitivity.
8. A Witness to the World
A transformed Christian reflects Christ to others.

Character evidence: boldness, compassion for souls, consistent testimony.
9. Perseverance and Spiritual Strength
Transformation equips believers to endure trials with faith.

- Strengthened through Christ — Philippians 4:13
- More than conquerors — Romans 8:37
