CHARACTER OF A TRANSFORMED CHRISTAIN

A transformed Christian is someone whose inner life, values, and behaviour have been changed by the Holy Spirit through faith in Christ. The Bible describes this transformation as a new birth, a renewed mind, and a Spirit‑led life. Character of a transformed believers are as follows:

1. A New Identity in Christ

A transformed Christian understands they are no longer defined by their past but by their new life in Christ.

  • New creation“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
  • Adopted as God’s child — Romans 8:15–16
  • Crucified with Christ — Galatians 2:20

Character of new identity in Christ: confidence in God, freedom from guilt, a renewed sense of purpose.

2. A Renewed Mind

Transformation begins internally, shaping thoughts, attitudes, and decisions.
