GOD’S TOOLS FOR STRENGTHENING THE CHURCH
Introduction
God Builds His Church Through His People
Key Scripture: Ephesians 4:11–12 — God gives people and gifts “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
God does not strengthen His church through structures, titles, or programs alone—He strengthens it through transformed believers who become His tools.
Every believer is called, shaped, and empowered to be a tool in God’s hands for the strengthening of others.
- Tool One: Encouragers Who Build Up
1 Thessalonians 5:11 — “Encourage one another and build each other up.”
Why encouragement matters
- Encouragement restores courage to the weary.
- It lifts believers out of discouragement, doubt, and spiritual fatigue.

He strengthened Paul, John Mark, and the early church.

- Be present for those in trials.
